James W. Leslie is a painter who resides in Northeast Ohio where he captures the beauty of the sunlit landscapes of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, surrounding areas, and beyond. James' passion is the exploration of color and light and how it plays upon the natural world. His approach into the world of paint-to-canvas captures endless fields, rivers, streams, and trails of the landscapes he encounters and loves so much.
James is a member of the Akron Society of Artists, Northeast Ohio Plein Air Society, and The Artist Archives of The Western Reserve. His work is shown in many juried and group shows nationally and throughout the region.
